Our family was so lucky to find Oscar at the New West Animal Shelter 17 years ago. He immediately emerged from the cloud of cats and started bonding with us right away. He was the best buddy we could hope for and really brought the family together with his warmth and need for contact. He was also one heck of a mouser, right to the end!
He earned as many nicknames as he had favourite spots in our big blue house, the earliest being Pins due to his uncanny ability to pin us down whenever we sat down or lied down. Pineroo. Da Guy. Oscar Poscar. Da Floof. Furry von Snugglefluff. Furry Snackleroy. Pirate Pins. We will miss you dearly but you’ve made our lives so much richer. The many thousands of photos and videos we have of him are proof of that.
Many thanks to Lifting Stars and Dr. Midge for your thoughtful and compassionate care. It meant the world to us to be able to say goodbye as a family in Oscar’s long time home. You made it to 18 and we enjoyed every minute of it. Rest in peace Pins! Love David, Susanne, Kathryn and Kathleen.
