On August 28 2025, Zimbardo passed peacefully with the help of Dr. Jeff. He was extraordinary – a sometimes evil genius, a gracious host to visitors, and a best friend for nearly 18 years. He was a lover of cuddles, potato chips, and The Sopranos. He hated jello, dogs, and the sound of packing tape. Zim was the kind of cat who took people saying they didn’t like cats as a challenge. He survived so much in his life, and retained his spirit until the very end. My hope is that he is wherever we go when we die, probably sleeping on top of his brother Dexter. Thank you to Lifting Stars for giving Zim the most respectful care. And thank you to Zim for being the best companion.
